Luminous Campaign
Light the way for every student .
Tuition covers most of what it takes to run the school, but not everything. The Luminous Campaign closes that gap. Your support keeps tuition assistance available, our teachers well-resourced, and the campus a place where children love to learn.

The Luminous Campaign is the Foundation’s annual, community-wide effort, launched each fall. It brings together families, alum, and friends of the school in a shared commitment to support Waldorf education.
Each year, priorities are shaped in collaboration with the school and the Foundation’s Development Committee. The campaign includes class participation efforts, community events, and Giving Tuesday; building both engagement and support across the school.
Participation matters. Community giving helps sustain programs, expand access, and support the school in ways that tuition alone cannot.

TWSF Giving Guide
A small gift each month, a lasting glow all year.
A small amount each month adds up to something the school can really plan around. Monthly gifts give the Foundation steady, predictable funding for scholarships and the things that matter most each year. And it’s easier on your budget than a single year-end gift.
100% Class participation challenge
If your child's class hits 100% participation, the Foundation puts $200 into your class fund. The class decides what to do with it. Past classes have used it for trips, festival celebrations, and special projects.
How to Donate
- Online: Use our secure online donation portal to make a one-time or monthly contribution.
- Corporate Matching: Maximize your gift by checking if your employer offers corporate matching. Company giving programs include Canada Helps and Benevity.
As a registered charity, all donations receive a charitable tax receipt. Donate now to support our community!
Gifts can be directed to:
The General Fund
Unrestricted gifts. The school uses these for whatever's most needed in a given year, which gives leadership room to respond to what's actually happening on campus.
Scholarships and Tuition Assistance
Includes the Vijan Family Scholarship. These gifts directly help families who couldn't otherwise afford a Waldorf education for their children.
Current Campus Priorities
Specific projects the school and Foundation agree on each year. Right now that includes the Forest Playground build and faculty development.
This flexible approach allows each donor to support the area that resonated the most.
2025/26 Annual Luminous Campaign
How It Works
Through the Luminous Campaign, donors are invited to give in a way that is meaningful to them. Gifts can be directed to:
1. The General Fund (long-term sustainability)
2. Scholarships and tuition assistance, including the Vijan Family Scholarship
3. Current priorities and projects on campus
This flexible approach allows each donor to support the area that resonates most.
Let us bring the change together!
Your generosity creates lasting change for our students and community. A family that received tuition assistance shared:
“This education offered our children the opportunity to learn as individuals, be accepted for their gifts, and grow in confidence… They have lifelong friendships, meaningful experiences nurtured in care and compassion.”
