2025/26 Annual Fund Campaign
We’re excited to kick off the 2025/26 Luminous Campaign!
The Luminous Campaign is the annual fundraiser of the Toronto Waldorf School Foundation. It sustains and uplifts our school through collective generosity and shared purpose.
Each year, families, alumni, and friends come together to support the people, programs, and places that make TWS shine.
This year, you are invited to give to one of three meaningful funds:
Annual Fund: Forest Playground – Phase 1
This is the second year of joyful momentum. Last year, families helped raise over $40,000 toward our new Forest Playground. Two classes reached full participation and received $250 for their class funds. Lower School students offered creative playground drawings, and we proudly unveiled the Phase 1 plan at Mayfest.
Our goal this year is to complete fundraising for Phase 1 with a total target of $150,000. With your support, the school is preparing for summer 2026 installation by moving forward with site prep and equipment orders.
Every donor to the Forest Playground will be acknowledged with a tribute at the site. Your gift brings play, movement, and wonder into the daily life of TWS students.
General Fund for Tuition Assistance
This fund keeps Waldorf education accessible for families across our community. It provides over $280,000 annually in tuition assistance, supporting economic equity and making it possible for TWS to direct other funds toward classroom programs and student life.
The Vijan Family Scholarship
This fund supports high school students with demonstrated financial need. Now in its second year, it helps ensure students can continue to grow and thrive through the high school years, where meaning deepens and self-confidence takes root.
Participation Goal
Our aim is full community participation in the Luminous Campaign. Whether you give to the playground, tuition assistance, or the Vijan Family Scholarship, your gift matters. Every contribution is an act of belief in the potential of our students and school.

Mark your calendars for Giving Tuesday on December 2nd, the official launch of our Annual Fund! While the Annual Fund is open year-round, this special day kicks off an intensive two-week drive to raise crucial support for our school’s initiatives. Join us in strengthening our vibrant community and helping us reach our goals.
How to Donate
- Online: Use our secure online donation portal to make a one-time or monthly contribution.
- Corporate Matching: Maximize your gift by checking if your employer offers corporate matching. Company giving programs include Canada Helps and Benevity.
- Donations over $600: Receive an invitation to our special Donor Appreciation event.
- Monthly Donors: The first 10 monthly donors will receive a unique gift.
- Class Fund $200: Reach 100% participation in your class and receive $200 to the class fund.
