Forest Playground
A space shaped by imagination, movement, and nature
The Forest Playground is a community-led initiative to create a natural play space rooted in exploration, creativity, and connection.
Inspired by Waldorf principles and shaped by student imagination, this space will support movement, risk-taking, and social play in a natural environment.
Student Vision
Forest Playground Phase 1
TWS Skip-a-thon
After dreaming, designing, and fundraising together, our students are now helping bring the Forest Playground across the finish line — one skip at a time.
Skip-a-thon Date: Friday, May 29 Lower School
Community Challenge: Join us at Mayfest, May 23rd.
Students will set individual or class skipping goals and gather pledges to support the first phase of the Forest Playground. Pledge forms were sent home with students.
Donate Here — Select “Forest Playground” from the dropdown menu and note which class or skipper you are supporting.

How to gather Pledges
Ask your child to reach out to family and friends to share:
- why they are skipping
- that funds are helping build the Forest Playground
- their personal or class skipping goal
Examples:
“My class is going to skip together as long as we can on May 29. Will you pledge to support me?”
“I am going to complete 100 skips to help raise money for the Forest Playground. Will you pledge to support me?”
“I am creating a skipping trick for the Skip-a-thon! Please consider making a pledge.”
After the Skip-a-thon, students can let supporters know they completed their goal.
Donations can be made online through the donation page by selecting “Forest Playground” from the dropdown menu, or by cheque payable to TWSF.
Thank you for supporting our students and the Forest Playground!
