In Harmony Spring Concert and Silent Auction: Vaughan City Playhouse

In Harmony Spring Concert and Silent Auction

A bi-annual community fundraising event benefiting the Toronto Waldorf School Foundation, held at the City Playhouse Theatre in Vaughan and welcoming families, alumni, and community members from across the Greater Toronto Area.

About the event
The In Harmony Spring Concert and Silent Auction is a celebration of music, community, and education. As part of the world’s largest independent education movement, Waldorf education is a recognized leader in holistic, arts-integrated learning and attracts families and educators from across the region and beyond. Families relocate from countries such as Brazil, Turkey, and China to access this distinctive approach to education.

A defining feature of Waldorf education is its integrated approach to core academics and the arts, with music playing a central role in student development. In Harmony offers a rare opportunity to experience this work in a public setting. The evening showcases the depth and progression of the school’s music program from Grade 4 through Grade 12, alongside alumni performances, all led by music teachers who are accomplished professional musicians. These educators are deeply committed to helping each student discover the musician within themselves and to develop both skill and confidence over time.

What your support makes possible
Proceeds from the silent auction support the Toronto Waldorf School Foundation General Fund, strengthening the school’s long-term vitality and helping sustain tuition assistance and core programs.

New this year, a portion of concert proceeds will also help support private music lessons for students with demonstrated financial need, helping to remove financial barriers to participation and ensuring the music program remains accessible to all.

Why attend
In Harmony is open to the public and offers an uplifting evening where audiences are moved by student and alumni musicianship while supporting access to education and the arts.
