Alumni, parents, and friends support the Toronto Waldorf School in many ways by donating to The Toronto Waldorf School Foundation through the General Fund in support of priorities such as financial assistance, faculty innovation, and facilities; and planned gifts and bequests. However you choose to strengthen TWS — and at whatever level — your generosity is truly appreciated.

• Matching gifts: Many companies offer matching charitable gift programs to their employees, and will match up to three times your gift to The Toronto Waldorf School Foundation

• Benevity: At your request, your Benevity donation can be directed to The Toronto Waldorf School Foundation.

• Stocks and securities: Click here for a stock transfer form to donate stocks to The TWSF. Donors who transfer appreciated publicly traded securities directly to The TWSF avoid capital gains tax. These donors receive a donation receipt based on the fair market value of the shares (for the close of market on the day the securities are received by The TWSF).
• Donor Advised Funds:

  If you have a Donor Advised Fund (DAF), you can recommend a grant to the Toronto Waldorf School Foundation (TWSF) using our full legal name and CRA charitable registration number.

  DAFs are one of the fastest-growing ways to give in Canada—especially for those managing appreciated securities, capital gains, or planning multi-year charitable giving. They allow you to make a tax-deductible donation up front, invest the funds tax-free, and support your favourite charities over time.
